General

MONARC™ and the Monarc logo are the registered trademark property of Nauhria Precast Limited. Unauthorised use of MONARC™ or the Monarc Logo is prohibited without authorized permission from the Managing Director or an appointed authorized employee of Nauhria Precast Limited.

Nauhria take all practical steps to ensure consistency of production as best as can reasonably be achieved.

Nauhria accept no liability for irregularities made visible as a result of the MONARC™ panel manufacturing.

Nauhria accept no liability for irregularities made visible as a result of naturally occurring aggregate or oxide properties.

Monarc panels are coloured by means of natural oxides and aggregates.

These materials have natural irregularities in their appearance including variations in colour, shape, size and natural properties e.g. quartz grains.

During the honing and polishing process of MONARC™ it is normal for some of the beautiful natural properties to become exposed and for some aggregate to possibly become dislodged from the surface of the panel.

It is a natural occurrence for oxide colours to vary between or within individual cast panels due to environmental variables outside of human control. Environmental variables outside of Nauhria’s control that can cause such variations include but are not limited to: humidity, temperature, raw material moisture content, concrete curing time, aggregate batching and source supply.

Monarc panels are manufactured within the limits and tolerances set out in NZS3109 1997.

During the MONARC™ processing a thin layer of the cementicous surface is removed through the diamond honing, diamond brushing or bush hammering process. The amount of removal is dependant on individual panels to best achieve a consistent look between panels.

Generally and unless otherwise specified, panels are cast 5mm thicker than required to accommodate the removal of the cementicious layer.

Nauhria accept no liability on panels that have had thickness reduced or increased greater than the specified panel thickness that are within the recommendation of NZS3109 1997 tolerances for precast panel manufacturing.

Transportation, handling and erection of Monarc panels

Monarc panels are manufactured with approved cast in lifting components.

Nauhria take all practical care to avoid damage occurring to and to protect the MONARC panels during production, processing and storage.

Nauhria accepts no liability for any damage caused as a result of the lifting, handling, securing, transportation, or erection of MONARC Panels from the moment of loading them on to delivery vehicles, trailers, flat racks, ‘A’ frames, and other means of transportation or storage apparatus.
